If you want to buy a stone as a tangible asset, we advise you on quality and certificate. To be honest: when reselling, the price is usually well below what you paid.
Custom setting
You choose the stone, we set it to your idea, from an engagement ring to a pendant, together with the master goldsmith.
The 4 Cs, simply explained
These four characteristics determine a diamond's value and effect. We show them to you on the stone.
Carat (weight)
The carat weight describes the mass of the stone (1 carat = 0.2 grams), not directly its size.
Cut
The cut determines the sparkle. A precise cut makes even smaller stones shine.
Colour
The scale ranges from fine white (D) to yellowish (Z). The more colourless, the rarer.
Clarity
Describes inclusions, from flawless (FL) to visible (I). We show you the differences under the loupe.
Certificate & trust
On request you receive stones with a certificate from a recognised institute. This way the 4 Cs are independently documented and verifiable.

What do the 4 Cs mean?
Carat (weight), cut, colour and clarity. We show you what each one means on the stone, under the loupe.
Which colour and clarity are worth it?
For most pieces of jewellery the best compromise is colour G to H, an almost colourless white. For clarity, inclusions in the VS to SI1 range are usually not visible to the naked eye and the value for money is right.
Is a 1 carat diamond twice as big as a 0.5 carat one?
No. Carat describes the weight (1 carat = 0.2 grams), not directly the size. A stone just below a round carat mark often looks almost the same size but costs noticeably less.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, on request. The certificate comes from a recognised institute and records the 4 Cs. We go through it with you point by point.
Can I have a diamond set individually?
Yes, for example as an engagement ring or a pendant. The master goldsmith sets the stone to your design.
Are diamonds suitable as an investment?
Only to a limited extent. A diamond is a compact tangible asset, but when reselling you usually get considerably less than the purchase price. If preserving value is your main aim, investment gold is usually the better choice. If you still want a stone as a tangible asset, we advise you on quality and certificate.
